French foreign language Teacher (FLE) graduated from the Alliance française, I have been teaching for twenty years in Brussels and France to Adults (European institutions, companies, Ambassy..) but also with adolescents and children.
Specialised in teaching French to foreigners of all levels and ages, i am a certified, native teacher emphasising interactive, immersion learning, training for individuals or companies. One-to-one, small groups, workshops...
Get started with my teaching method inspired by AIM Language Learning (widely available in Canada , Australia and the United States) based on a specific language gestures, corresponding to basic words "high frequency of use " of the French language. (especially recommended for beginners)
The method is based on repetition and the automation of simple structures

LA PEDAGOGIE
Participer à un atelier de français Clown , c’est apprendre une langue sans contraintes mais dans la liberté de communiquer
c’est accepter l’idée de s'amuser avant tout. Le clown supprime l'objectif du résultat.
Le plaisir, objectif principal du clown, c’est l’ objectif d'apprentissage, pas juste un moyen. Le plaisir est lié au désir, et faire du clown éveille le désir de s'exprimer dans la langue.
En utilisant une parole ordinaire, l'apprenant accède à la langue sans avoir l'impression d'apprendre. Le plaisir inattendu ne remplace pas l'effort ni la rigueur, mais aide l'apprenant à surmonter les étapes difficiles et à vouloir continuer. Le clown rend le plaisir moteur et objectif de l'apprentissage.
Les observations et enquêtes ont montré que le clown aide à apprendre le FLE. L'apprenant utilise la langue dans des situations réelles et personnelles, ce qui lui permet de l'apprendre de manière authentique et émotionnelle. En s'exprimant lui-même, il améliore ses compétences orales en parlant et en comprenant.
A partir d’improvisations , de jeux de rôle ou d’exercices guidés de prises de parole individuelles ou en groupe , de petits sketchs, l’étudiant renforce ces acquis et permet d'essayer différentes stratégies langagières.
Au programme : désinhibition, lâcher-prise et plaisir de rire et de se découvrir.
On joue un personnage "en jouant ce qui nous arrive". Le corps ou le geste existe avant le mot ou la phrase , ils sontl conséctifs l’un à l’autre
c'est une approche essentiellement ludique basée souvent sur le non-verbal.
Cette approche gestuelle et corporelle n’exclue nullement le travail d’apprentissage classique :
Effectivement, après l’étape « jeu » , vient le moment de la correction : "le retour d’impro" en groupe :
corrections orales juste après l’improvisation mais aussi écrites à partir des « erreurs « les plus intéressantes pour aider à la mémorisation .
Etape qui rassure en renvoyant à des repères de correction traditionnelle.
Analyse aussi des structures syntaxiques et grammaticales apparues au cours de micro-dialogues contextualisés.
Mise en écrit de textes issus lors des exercices mais aussi du vécu authentique des participants ou bien proposés par l’animateur sous différentes formes ou ressources...
Faire du clown en FLE, c’est actualiser des approches linguistiques récentes , notamment en neurolinguistique, pour s’écarter dans un premier temps de l’écrit pour y revenir ensuite.
C’est aller vers une prise de parole en créant des situations qui vont faire sens dans la langue étrangère et faire de la langue un instrument de jeu où l’apprenant apprend sans apprendre mais où il dirige son propre apprentissage,
